Chronic Itching

I got saline implants 6 years ago. They are behind the muscle and I also had a lift.I have lost feeling below the lift scar. Ever since the surgery my nipples and areola  have itched. So much so it will look like a cat attacked me in my sleep.( I don't even remember doing it) I have tried different bras, detergents and lotions ect. It is a constant itch and I am constantly scratching. I have tried cortizone  and other creams. My last mammogram in October 2009 was normal. I have mentioned the chronic itching to at least 4 doctors in the past and I am pretty much ignored. I am wondering if it is because of the scarring or could I have an chronic nipple infection. 7 years ago I got a yeast infection in my nipples from nursing. Taking off the bra used to help but now the itching is 24-7.

It may be worthwhile seeing a dermatologist (or even a general surgeon) to see if some underlying condition is producing your symptoms.  I would be suprised if the scar is the cause of your problem this long after your original surgery.
