Healing after surgery

Had breat redution 30 years ago and had no problems.   Had breast reduction sugery 4 weks ago and the incision from my nipple straight down under both brests is not healing well.  They are brown, black,whit/yellow tissue, widening, oozing yellow, parts are somewhat tender. The red areas are not increasing and I do not think I have an infection but the area smells funky.
I have moved away and so I am only speaking to my doctor by phone, but I did send pictures to his e-mail..  He tells me that this is normal due to prvious scar tisuue.  I am only cleaning areas with soap and water, using minipads in my sports bra, but I am oozing and oozing.
Is there any way to speed up this process?

It does sound like you might have an infection and I would suggest seeking an opinion from a plastic surgeon where you now reside.
