Is it safe to get Liposuction if you have Klippel Trenaunay syndrome?

I am a 25 year old female and i have a extremely mild form of the Klippel Trenaunay syndrome present in my right leg. I work out vigorously- but it seems i cannot (even with a compression sock) make my legs closer to the same size and porportion. Could liposuction help to sculpt them a bit and relieve the adema? Or is this too risky??

It would be impossible to recommend a treatment alternative without a direct examination and further tests.  Since most plastic surgeons have limited experience with this problem, you may best be evaluated at a university medical center plastic surgery program, where you will likely find someone with more extensive experience with its treatment.  Liposuction has been used to treat chronic edema, but complications related to the vascular involvement of the extremity with your problem needs to be considered.
