Juvederm - lumpy, long lasting results

A year ago I had juvederm placed in a small indentation under my right eye on the orbital socket area. Rather than filling the small depression, it created a puffy area approx 1/2" by 3/4" right above it.  There is no sign of this reducing in size over time.  I have had restylane before (nasal labila folds) with excellent results; administered by someone else. Those results have lasted over 2 years.

What can be done about the puffy area of Juvederm under my eye? When I brought it to the attention of the person who administered it, he said he didn't know why it ended up there. Thanks.

Juvederm is a form of hyaluronic acid.  Injectables like this can last longer in the periorbital area than in the nasolabial folds.  It is possible to dissolve the Juvederm with the injection of hyaluronidase, an enzyme that can dissolve the filler.  Check with your physician.
