Laser hair removal and Hypotrophic / Keloid scarring

Hi i am booked in to have laser hair removal for my bikini line next week, but i have read that if you have a history of Hypotrophic / Keloid scarring then the intensity needs to be less aggressive, as i have a large suspected Hypotrophic / Keloid scar along my abdomen from a tummy tuck i am very concerned, but i can not find out anywhere what this intensity should be can you please tell me what sort of level the laser should be set at to avoid any complications.

Many thanks in advance for your time

There are different types of hair removal lasers and each have separate adjustment for power settings.  The treatment plan should take into account you particular needs. The procedure, risks and settings should be discussed in detail with your laser physician prior to undergoing treatment.
