Lipodissolve

Last year I had 3 lipodissolve injections in my stomach.  I was supposed to have 6 but I discontinued the treatments because I couldn't tolerate them.  I had a lot of pain, swelling and itching.  My ob/gyn has theorized that I was allergic to the compound they were using.  Anyway,
I am still having itching in that area 9 mos. later.  Is there anything that can be done about this?  Would having traditional liposuction remove the offending material?

The persistent itching is most likely a result of continuing reaction to the injected material.  I do not know if traditional liposuction to the area will be effective of if judicious injection of steroids to the area could also help.  I would suggest checking with your internist or an allergist about this problem.
