Lump after the breast reduction

Lump after the breast reduction

Hi,
I had my breast reduction done over a month ago and a few weeks ago I noticed a lump on my right breast.
It on the right side of it. It is not painful but it is haunting me day and night.
My PS wasn't concerned,  I went to see my GP and he wasn't concerned either but for my piece of mind he sent me for an ultrasound.
The ultrasound showed something filled with the fluid, but radiologist didn't recommend to do the needle biopsy at this moment. His advice was just keep an eye on it.
What is your opinion about it?
Thank you for your time and advice.
Danka.

Your lump is undoubtedly related to the reduction surgery.  It could be a reaction to a deep suture or a small seroma that will ultimately resolve with time.  It could also be an area of fat necrosis, which is not worrisome.  It sounds like your physician have taken  the proper approach to diagnosis.  Continue with follow-up with them.
