Probono work

Hello,

I had breast implants about 3 years ago.  My body rejected the implants.  However, I don't have any money to pay for this removal.  Do you know of any probono doctors?

Implants are not actually "rejected", but the body can form excessive scar tissue about them resulting in firmness, deformity and pain.  The first resource I would seek out is the original treating surgeon, who should have a vested interest in caring for you.  Remember that any additional surgery involves facility and anesthesia costs that should not necessarily be born by any treating physician who is not likely responsible to your body's reaction to the implant.  Another alternative is to be seen at a nearby university teaching facility with a plastic surgical service.
