Small, Close Set Eyes

Small, Close Set Eyes

I am a female with very small, close-set eyes. In addition, I have an oval face, which makes them appear even smaller and "beadie." I've heard of craniofacial surgery, however it seems that most surgeons discourage it.

Although this news is a bit crushing, I'd like to know if there are other procedures that could perhaps make eyes look less close together? Or, better yet, is there a way to re-shape one's bone structure so that the eyes do not appear so small - i.e. make an oval face look more "square"? Would reshaping the jawline or cheek bones help reshape a face that helps to "fit" small eyes better than an oval face would?

I've had 2 rhinoplasty procedures to help correct this problem, however the results were not as drastic as I had expected. Therefore, I'd like to know what other alternatives are out there

Thank you, and I look forward to your response.

It is not possible to make any specific recommendation without a thorough direct evaluation of your problem.  If an alteration in the shape of your face using an absorbing filler like one of the hyaluronic acids is appropriate, then this might be attempted to create a temporary indirect illusion.  If it does not work out, the effect is time limited.
