Smartlipo Question....

Ok, I am 23 years old (5' 6" 140lbs) and I have a 5 year old son. I was 110lbs before and I was a very healthy 110lbs!! LOL I wore a 8/9 size (I had hips...but only bone...no fat on them!) and I loved how I looked! After gaining 70 lbs during my pregnancy I have found myself doing diets, lipotropic shots going to the gym and now that I am down to 140lbs I would love to get the smartlipo done! I had breast implants on March 13, 2008 and my PS has said I am able to do any other surgery I would like...we talked about liposculpture. After researching both smartlipo and liposculpture, I do think Smartlipo is the best for me. I believe I would have lose skin on my tummy and I'm not willing to have a tummy tuck to fix it!

My questions for Smartlipo are:

Will it help with the small amount of cellulite I have on my butt and thigh ares?

How many inches should I expect to lose from smartlipo?

How much is the most lbs of fat that can be removed?

Could I do the front and back all in the same treatment?

Smartlipo is nothing more than a technique to assist in dissolving fat using a modified but   standard  Neodynium-YAG laser.  The dissolved fat must still be evacuated with traditional liposuction.  It is most useful in areas with very limited fat accumulation. If you need significant contouring, then using this technique may leave you quite disappointed.  It will not help cellulite.  Remember that this $100,000+ piece of equipment requires considerable marketing by both the manufacturer and the physicians who buy it.  It also adds to the operative time when used with traditional liposuction.

Smartlipo is almost always performed with liposuction.  The laser only liquefies the fat which must then be resorbed by the body over a period of time or immediately be removed with liposuction.
