Spontaneous seroma

Spontaneous seroma

I had a full mommy make over with a tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift, and implants.  Everything was fine for the first year.  Then I thought I pulled a muscle in my shoulder or neck area as it was sore for about 3 days.  Then on the fourth day, I woke up to a huge swollen right breast and the pain was shooting through my back and neck and I couldn't move my right arm.  I went to the dr and had emergency surgery thinking I was having a hematoma. turns out I had a spontaneous seroma a year after surgery.  He remove the implant, and completely removed the capsule that the seroma was in along with all the scar tissue.  I was placed on bactrum, keflex, vitamin E 2400, vitamin c, and a multi vitamin.  I also kept the drain in for almost 3 weeks.  Now it's been removed a week.  I was told to go back to my morning life. But this saturday, my shoulder and neck started hurting again just like before, and now I can tell on Monday that I have sweelling in the same breast.  What are my options? Do I have to remove the implants? I've already had the second surgery where it was drainined and the capsule was removed with addtiional scar tissue.  So what do I have left to try.

Late development of a seroma is suggestive of some form of infection.  It sounds like you surgeon is treating you appropriately.
