Still confused?

I've had my axillary breast tissues removed exactly 3 years now. However, there is still swelling under my arms...I'm not sure what this can be. I visited the Doctor who performed the surgery about a year ago. She insisted that there was nothing to worry about and that there isn't any more breast tissues under my arm. She is a regular surgeon however, not a plastic surgeon. I'm still concerned though since my arms still have swelling. My scars are also still visible as they are of a darker complexion than the rest of my skin. Any suggestion? It bothers me that it may still be tissue under my arms and this can be uncomfortable now and even later on in life since I am only in my early 20's. Any help is welcomed. Thank you.

I would seek a consultation with a plastic surgeon.  This would be for consideration of scar revision as well as removal of any additional bothersome tissue, perhaps with liposuction.
