T Incision coming open

My T incision is open and raised above. It's puffy, pink, and very soft. It bleeds every time I change my no stick gauze and I see the scabs coming off onto the pad. It looks like the flesh is oozing or falling out of the wound. It's about a 1 & 1/2 square inch opening. It's quite distrubing to look at. Is this normal? How can the area heal if I keep it closed up? I'm worried I need more stitches.

Wound separation a the T junction following a full mastopexy can be a result of several problems including minor infection, reaction to deep dissolvable sutures which can spit out, and tension along the suture line.  These open areas always heal over time with topical applications and sometimes systemic antibiotics.  Attempting to reclose the area with sutures often can lead to re-separation and a larger wound.  I am sure your surgeon will help you get it healed as quickly as possible.  Be patient.  It may take two to four weeks before it completely closes.
