Vein under eye - cool glide laser

I visited a plastic surgeon and they said they could remove this vein that's along my cheekbone (pictured and indicated with arrows here -- http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/750100)  using a "cool-glide laser."

What I want to know is if you are aware of any potential complications.  They indicated that there were none, but I definitely need other opinions.  My concerns range from possible loss of vision, scarring, and nerve damage.  Their only concern was it might not kill the vein since they'd need to keep the setting low since the skin is so thin.

The use of a laser is a vary viable option for you. Risks include failure to completely eradicate the vein or discoloration of the overlying skin.  While surgical treatment with electrocautery is also an option, scarring could be a problem.

Thank you very much for your reply.  It makes going through the procedure likely since my vision and nerves won't be in danger of damage . ....
