What are my options

All my life I have been ridiculed because of how I look.  I have a boyish figure which doesn't even permit me to use pants because I look terrible.  Example, once some one told me I looked like an upside down triangle.  That is one of the least harsh comments I've had.  I've been told I look like a man, a boy and like an undeveloped girl.  My hips and buttocks are very small.  I have been suffering forever with this problem which has lead to other problems (low self esteem, depression, thoughts of suicide) all because I cannot accept the way I look. My question, is there anything I can do to improve my shape.  If so, what options do I have?

While there are treatment options like fat injections or buttocks implants available, it is unclear, without a direct examination, if these alternatives would be valuable.  There is certainly the risk that any surgical correction with still leave you with limited improvement, or worse, a permanent residual deformity that makes you feel worse than you do now.   Plastic surgery can be a very effective ego booster in patients with common correctable problems and in individuals with realistic expectations.  If you seek the advise of a competent surgeon who feels the correction will not satisfy you, then counseling may be in order.
