Wide hip in a man.

basically i have wide hips exactly like a women but i am a man. the problem is not fat but bone. my pelvis is big and i am not fat at all, i have an athletic body type.

is there any type of surgery out there that can make my hips smaller?

I have never heard of any procedure being used to achieve this other than liposuction, in someone with excess fat.  You can speak with an orthopedist about this, but you will probably get the same response.

to approche my problem another way.

say a transsexual, female-to-male wanted to have hips like a male, what could be done surgically? could the bone be reduced?
