Will Hip reduction surggery hinder movement?

Hello dr,
i and a ballerina with pear figure(bigger hips than chest) and i was wondering if i go for hip surgery would it cause any complications in hip movement(whether pain, or movement restriction). I would also like to know how does the surgery work (is it cutting away some parts of the hip bone?). Because if i were to do the surgery i would still want to dance ballet as my main motive for doing it would be ballet.

Hip reduction is usually performed using liposuction.  I know of no one who performs this cosmetic procedure with alteration of the bones.  If liposuction were an appropriate approach to your problem, it would not affect your dancing ability.  I recommend you consult with a plastic surgeon about this.
