brow lift long term results

Hi Dr. Rosenberg,

how are you?

I was curious about brow lifts on younger ppl and there lasting effects.

I heard that scar tissue is only 70% as strong as natural connective tissue. Since during a brow lift skin is lifted off, and underlying forehead tissues are separated and eventually everyhing is held together by scar tissue, is it possible to experience accelerated aging? For ex if a 20 year old decided to undergo a brow lift, but her natural connective tissues are already strong...Is it possible that her brows would drop faster than if she hadn't undergone a brow lift at all?
cuz everything is being held up unnaturally?

Thank you very much for considering my question,
Take care,
Papillon :)

In performing a brow lift, tissue is repositioned.  Over time, at worst, the repositioned tissue could fall back to their original state.  I know of no evidence or studies to ever suggest that an acceleration of aging would occur.
