bulging chin 7 weeks post op lower face lift w platysmal plication

I am now almost 7 weeks post surgery. As I explained previously I suffered a seroma which began 7 to 10 days post op. After it was drained several times I have now formed the lump Dr Rosenberg previously mentioned however along with the lump comes additional symptoms no seems to be able to explain. Perhaps someone has encountered this complication and can shed some light on what is happening. Sometimes it seems as if the fibrous tissue left from the seroma is nearly gone and my chin is flat like it was before the surgery then it swells up and my jawline is at a 45 degree angle like it was weeks ago. Another disturbing symptom is that even when I get the swelling down and my chin is flat and normal looking, when I speak, whistle, clear my throat, sing or even just utter a simple oooh. my throat bulges out like a bull frog. If this were larngecele (sp?) how can one tell? With the varying changes that occur daily and even throughout the day it is so difficult to diagnose what could be the cause and if there is anything that can be done to correct the complication.   I came across one patient that had a similar situation after a face lift and she said she was just started to feel normal after 6 months. However she did not experience the bulging bull frog throat that I am experiencing when I speak or whistle, sing etc. I reiterate that I did not have a double chin prior to surgery. I am a singer, my vocal cords are fine but if I press on the large golf ball sized lump it cuts off my airway. Has anyone ever seen this bullfrog thing?   Please HELP! my Dr is asking around but no one he knows has seen this either. please help if anyone has suggestions. He is thinking maybe to reopen it if things don't resolve by 12 weeks or at least show that they are definitely improving. Thank you for your input!
Seroma
