can anyone help me?

i'm 7 months post mini facelift. i've been experiencing so much discomfort around my ears, in my neck, and trapezius from day one. as soon as i arise in the morning, the sensations of burning around my ears begins, along with the pulling from behind my ears, down my neck into my traps. my neck feels blocked in the occipital ridge and when i rotate my head, it hurts. the ache in my neck and traps intensifies as the day wears on. my only relief is to lie down to get gravity off my face and neck. massage gives only temporary relief if any at all. i have been to a neurologist, rheumatologist, chiropractor,  and many holistic therapists to try and get out of pain. i've also seen a pain management dr., who suggested a cervical cortisone injection. i'm trying to figure out what may have happened so i can find a dr. to help me. i believe it's neural and affecting my muscular aches. the pain around my ears may be nerve damage. i don't know. have you had any experience with this issue? i'm searching for help.  thank you.

I have personally never had a patient with this kind of problem, but have heard of similar cases.  My best suggestion would be to seek the help of a pain clinic often found at university hospital teaching centers where physicians from multiple specialties can evaluate your problem and suggest treatment alternatives.
