I have always advocated that payment for complications following surgery should be established before the surgery is performed.  The costs for revision vary from surgeon to surgeon.

I just had an augmentation/lift.  I developed an infection in one of my breasts three weeks after surgery.  The doctor did not know why and thought that it could be a staff infection.  I had to pay the surgery center fee and anestesiologist, another $1,000, to have it cleaned out.  I did not feel like this was my fault, but had no option.

Do you have to pay for any extra surgeries? I'm scared I will need mine "revised" and wonder if I'm going to pay for it. Doesnt seem fair to me..

If the results of your breast reduction are unsatisfactory, it is possible to undergo revision of scars, shape and size.  If you do not have confidence in your original surgeon, then second opinion would be appropriate.
