facial Reconstruction

After i had a cheekbone facical surgery & my swellings went down .... i went 2 see my doc & it seems that one of the the plates on the side of the face shifted the bone to be healing in the wrong place (which slightly more to the outside) so both sides of the face doesnt match ..... my doctor said they afraid to make a surgery again it might end up in more worse results.... is it normal for a bone to be not matching  the correct side... & what can be done to return this cheekbone to its normal shape.... he said if we opened again you'll might not be able to smile & might cause eye damage i think he was talk'n about the nerve.

Perfect symmetry after this kind of surgery may not be possible.  Your doctor was probably referring to the risk of damage to the facial nerve.  Your doctor would be in the best position to evaluate the results of your procedure and the risks of any revision procedure.
