fat injections/buttocks implants

What are the risk of having fat injections/buttocks implants? Also, is there a location in Southern California (Riverside County) that does both of these procedures? Lastly, what if you do not have enough fat from around the hip area to remove and inject into the buttocks, is there another area that can be used? Thank you.

There are several significant risks associated with buttocks augmentation.  With the use of an implant in that location, there is the real risk of infection with ultimate need to remove the implant.  I have also heard that some patients feel they are sitting on rocks.  Fat injections can be satisfactory, but the fat must survive after its transplantation to the buttocks area, so loss of volume may be an issue.  Also, you must have sufficient existing fat to liposuction and transplant for the result to be worthwhile.
