flat cheek after chin lipo

flat cheek after chin lipo

3 weeks after chin lipo for double chin, (more fat was removed from underneath the RIGHT side of the chin). However, ironically, the right CHEEK looks extremely flat with less fat to it and the left one looks normal. The doctor didn't operate on my cheeks at all. And he removed more fat from under the RIGHT side of my chin (so I would think the right cheek would be puffier, not flat). Why would my right cheek look flatter? He says it could be swelling, but this doesn't make sense to me as swelling doesn't make something look flatter. It's not extremely bad, but I'm afraid as weeks go by the cheek might get flatter and the asymmetry might be more noticeable.
Is this normal?

It is far too early after this surgery to assess the results.  If the cheek was not addressed at your surgery, and the appearance is somehow secondarily related to the procedure (I can't understand how or why), then time will ultimately determine the outcome.  It will probably take several months to determine your final result.
