laser lipo

I'm considering this new technique- laser liposuction.  I am of dark skin, and was wondering if there might be any pigment problems afterwards?

The use of a laser to destroy fat cells prior to liposuction has been given a lot of press by the laser manufacturer and the physicians who purchase this $100,000+ equipment.  The technique is useful if the area to be treated is very limited in size.  It also takes longer to perform than standard liposuction.  I doubt that the treatment will affect skin coloration.
