question for maxillofacial surgeon

i am wanting to get jaw surgery for completely cosmetic reasons (my bite is already good, jawbones are meeting very well)....my question is, after looking at my x-rays, on which grounds would the surgeon reject me? what about the way the jaws fit into the skull would be unfit to alter through surgery?

why would I be rejected at all?

The indications for this surgery will depend on the results of your cephalometric X-ray evaluation and an evaluation by an orthodontist to determine the success of realigning you bite prior to any surgical procedure.  If the risks outweigh the benefits, then any maxillofacial surgeon would not agree to the procedure.
