remove dark boil scars on inner thigh

what kind of cream is out there for removing or lighting my boil scars from my inner thighs and buttoks, and not break out from it. i got them from shaving down there wrong. some one told me mederma works. is that true and if not, what cream would help?

I know of no cream that will reliably remove scars to any significant degree.  A bleaching agent like hydroquinone may help to a limited degree and over-the-counter lotion like Mederma are worth a try, but realistically you should have low expectations.
