scar on lip?

i have i scar on the bow of my lip, it just looks like a thin line crossing it, it is bout 1 cm long but quite noticeable, it was a cut quite deep caused by an accident from glass and had to get about 4 stitches, it looks horrible and is there anything i could do to get rid of it, like any sort or surgery, i really hate looking at it.

It is very difficult to predict the success of scar revision, even after an examination.  However, it is certainly worth getting an opinion about your scar, particularly since it crosses a significant lip line, and there may be a mismatch of tissue approximation from the original suturing causing your distress with its appearance.
