stabbing pains & hyposensitive skin

Hi, I had a mastopexy & slight reduction 3 & 1/2 weeks ago, I am over the moon with the shape & size of my breasts.
I can't thank my surgeon enough he's done a really fantastic job.
Please can you tell me what I am experiencing is normal after this kind of surgery, I have stabbing shooting pains & very tender hard swollen breasts, they are very sensitive to touch or to the cold, they become extremely painful to the cold, that is the whole of my breasts. My surgeon has told me I have hyposensitive skin, of which can occur after this surgery. Please tell me this will eventually go away its driving me mad.
Thankyou

The symptoms you are experiencing are absolutely normal and extremely common at this stage.  It may take three or more months for these sensations to disappear.
