swelling and loose skin

Hi there, I had a tummy tuck 11 weeks ago but am now  miserable  after wanting this for so long , I do not have any where near a flat tummy .  My abdomin (abdomen) is swollen and when I touch it it looks like a water bed,
I have continually measured myself and have only reduced by 2 and half cms in all this time.  My plastic surgeon told me to stop wearing compression garment at 8 weeks but I am still wearing it due to my stomach still being swollen.
  Was I expecting too much ?  Will this resolve at any point I have read that most of your results should be evident at 3 months ? I lost 5 and a half stone , have  m.s  and this meant everything to me.  I go back to see my surgeon (nhs) in two weeks but he is a man of little words, when I saw him at 4 weeks p.o  all he could say was look at what you had before, this doesn't answer any of my concerns, PLEASE HELP
