weight loss surgery

hi,'

I am 21 and I am 5'1 and 260 pounds and i wanted to what are the risks of having surgery to get rid of the excess weight I am carrying. Also, i want to know what would be the best procedure to do with the least amount of risk to my health and around how much money do you think this will cost me.

thank you

If you are thinking of liposuction, this surgery is not designed for weight loss, but rather body contouring.  If you are thinking of gastric bypass surgery, then you should consult with a bariatric surgeon.  The cheapest, least risky, and healthiest technique for weight loss is to take in less calories than you expend, i.e. proper diet and exercise.  Fad diets do not work - ask any registered nutritionist.  If you need help, then organizations like Weight Watchers are a good place to start.

I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. I am not planning on having anymore. My question is this I am planning to have a lift/aumentation and was wondering how long I should wait before I can do this after the baby is born? I am not planning to breast feed. Could you advise me.

I would wait a minimum of four to six months to allow full resolution of the changes from pregnancy to occur.
