I had a breast reduction and uplift in JUL 2007 which costs £5000.  I was a 34FF and wanted to be a 34D.  After the swelling went down I was still having to wear the same bra size so the surgeon refunded me £800 as he said an uplift was £4200.  I only had a checkup after 3 months and he said I would have wait until the scars healed to see if there were any skin tags.  I have not heard from him since.  I wanted this operation so that I could wear lovely underwear and be able to wear a strapless dress if I wanted with no bra.  It is 2 years now and they have dropped back down and I am not able to go without a bra. I feel I should complain but where do I stand with this.  I feel that I should have been seen once the scars healed but wonder if I ring up for an appointment that I will be charged for a consultation fee just to explain my problem to him.

I cannot represent what your surgeon could or should charge for additional consultation or surgical fees.  Most surgeons will see patients in follow-up at no additional charge, but often charge additional fees for additional surgery.  You should find this out by calling his office and discussing your concerns.
