Botox for teeth grinding issue.

So, I don't know if this is the right place but here goes..

I'm 22 yr old female. Iv'e been grinding my teeth very hard since I was a kid only in my sleep. It gives me so much pain when I wake and also I notice that it weakens my teeth. I read that the only treatment is Botox.
I also think that all these years of grinding has made my jaw muscles larger and it just looks big and unappealing to me. Am I right?

Can you please tell me more about this? I need to know the effects, and the changes etc. and the procedure itself.
Also, if you could provide me with before/after pics.

Thanks in advanced.

I have worn a night guard for years.  Right now I wear a plastic retainer by Invisaline.  Which does pretty much the same job.

The night guards are designed to protect teeth when you grind during sleep.

Talk to your dentist. Botox might be used in conjunction with a night guard.

It is a good idea to take the grinding seriously.  Whatever you decide..good luck.
