Breast Implant Burning Pain

by jennifer7227526, Feb 13, 2008 08:12PM
I recently got breast implants a week ago and i have been experiencing a burning sensation on my left breast on the side about 2 inches from my scar closer to my under arm the scar has been healed and my stitches were taken out toda with out pain or complication. Is the burning pain normal? Why does the sharp pain burn so incredibly much?

At only one week post surgery, this is clearly a question for your surgeon, who would know the details of how your procedure was performed.  However, burning sensation this early after surgery is not uncommon and always resolves with time.
