Breast Transplant

by melpet2000, Sep 16, 2009 09:09AM
I know my question may sound similar but it is not.  I wanted to know about breast transplant as well.  My girlfriend (like my best friend not the other) had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery during the same procedure.  The tissue came from her stomach.  One side took, the other side did not.  It is affecting her emotionally to the point that she has lost contact with anyone who cares about her except part of her immediate family.  I wanted to know about breast transplant because I was considering giving her one of mine.  I've considered the fact that I could face the same trauma she is facing.  I was just wondering is that a viable solution.  She could have an implant and she knows that but it would not be real and it would not be her.  I know mine would not be hers either, but it would be part of someone who cares deeply for her.
