Hi, im having cosmetic surgery next wednesday, and i have a mitral valve prolapse. i have had a recent Echo and am waiting for a TEE/

Just wanted to know if there are any complications in relation to mitral valve prolapse/Mitral regurgitation??  and will i be ok!!

Since I do not know the details of the severity of your mitral valve prolapse, a better source to determine the advisability and risks of elective cosmetic surgery would be your cardiologist.
