Can sutures be removed 3 yrs post op tummy tuck

Can sutures be removed 3 yrs post op tummy tuck

Can the sutures be removed after full tummy tuck; they still feel way too tight and after reading this forrum I realize that the pain/tightness could be from the sutures and not scar tissue. Can they be surgerically removed and possibly be sewn back looser or with a mesh or something to allow for less tension/tightness?  I am DEFINITELY ready to consult with either my pc or second opinion.

well by three years, your sutures should have/would have been either removed or have dissolved. There should be nothing left. What it is that is causing pain is most likely scar tissue.
