Cauterized Mole reshaved
Hello, 15 years ago I had a mole removed on my lower right jaw. The dermatologist cauterized the mole after cutting it off. The skin in that area was always slightly rough and never flat. The past couple of years the edges started to raise up higher. A new dermatologist just shaved off that area. If it does not heal as nicely as I would like, do you think a plastic surgeon can cut out the area and stitch leaving a small linear scare instead of a 1cm round scar that is rough in appearance?

You mean like what should have been done fifteen years ago? Always best to see a plastic surgeon for facial lesions. I can't imagine shaving a facial lesion.
