Chickenpox and reddish brown spots

by dora irene, Feb 04, 2007 12:00AM

I had chickenpox 4 weeks ago at the age of 20.

Reddish brown spots were left  after the lesions have crusted and fallen off.

I apply some scar removers according to my friend's advise but the spots are still on my face.

Please let me know if there are better and faster ways to reduce the spots from my face as quick as possible.

Please advise some oinments or medicines if those can hlep me.

Thanks a lot.

MD Formulations do a really good one percent glycolic facial creme, which used twice a day could help. It exfoliates the top layers quicker.  They also do other products especially for lightening coloration/age spots.  Have a look at their website, and you can buy their products on the famous bay shop too.

Also please check before you use it is OK to use on recently imflamed skin and don't use if the scars are still inflamed or bleeding at all

HI, me too I had chickenpox at 20 (now i'm 21), I used 2 creams after it was closed for several months: cicalfate from avène and epithéliale A.H. from A-DERMA,  both are recomended for reparing skin after damage.
Scars will lose their color by their own in a few months, but its very important to continue hydratating with these cremes, and of course you must HIDE FORM THE SUN!!!!!
there is also a solarscreen like make up, it colorates skin like a tan, its specialy for protect scars when you can run from the sun. (Tinted extreme compact SPF 50).
gOOD LUCK
