Cosmetic surgery/procedure

Last year I had a minimally invasive chin lift procedure which has left some knotty scar tissue spots under/around ear lobes and 2 hard knots behind middle of both ears. They are still quite RED, are very sore to touch and itch constantly, especially when I lie down.  Can these be removed/cleaned up and smoothed out so they look/feel better and the pain goes away? I'm considering going back to the office where I had the cosmetic procedure done & asking them to 'fix' these areas -- especially if you say they can be corrected!!   Thanks in advance for your reply to my email. Hi missyb43, I am not A doctor but I have had plastic surgery and it sounds like maybe some scar tissue or perhaps some suture material that did not dissolve.  You should definitely go back to the doctor who did the surgery because he will know exactly what it is.  Both of those possibilities would be easy to resolve if they are the cause.  Good luck, suzi20071
