Headaches

by kari101, Oct 14, 2007 12:59PM
Had a neck lift first of April.  After a month of pain and the swelling going down I stated to experience headaches starting at the incision point behind both ears.  I can feel the muscles that were cut pulling and then the pressure starts.  I called the facility about this and they said they have never heard of anyone having this problem.  My family doctor says they are Tension Headaches.  The headaches can last 8-to 12 hours with no relief from over the counter drugs, or prescribed muscle relaxants or xanax.  Any suggestions?

It is now six months post neck lift and persistent headaches are not likely the result of your cosmetic procedure.  It sounds like you need a complete medical evaluation by an internist who specializes in headaches.
