Help for lipomas?

by lumpylady, Sep 28, 2009 02:16PM
What does the current research show as treatment for Lipomas?  I have numerous lipomas on my arms, hips and legs, mostly small, but some as large as 2 - 3 inches in diameter.  I have had about 25 removed from my arms, but about half of them returned.  Does Mesotherapy hold any promise?  How effective is liposuction - do the lipomas return?  What is the lipomas are "angiolipomas", do those require surgery?  Is there any thought to including treatment for lipomas as a meicaly coered treatment, rather than cosmetic?  Thanks for you thoughts and answer.
