About 2 yrs ago they was a signficant change in my asthma in which it seeemed to worsen a great deal. After many trip to the ER I was referred to a lung speacialist. At the visit he took on listen to my lungs and said "you have the lungs of a 70 y/o" I was not pleased to hear that but greatful he was determined to find out what was going on. Further testing finally resulted in the diagnosis of ABPA. Allergic BronchopulmonaryBronchopulmonary dysplasia Asperguillsis. Bascially a fungal infection in my lungs. I was also suffering from sever bronchecstasis. So the plan was to go on a high does to PrednisonePrednisone Prednisone anhydrous and Anti-fungal meds for treatment. WELL,........no on told me the horrible...horrible side effects of this med...and I was on 80mg a day for over 4 months. I was not even noticable to other I had gained 48 pounds in 3 months. I wake up in the morning and have new deep red stretch marks on my breast and abdomen. Finallly treatment ended and I still mantain a very small dose of prednisonePrednisone Prednisone anhydrous with acuteAcute bilateral obstructive uropathy Acute bronchitis Acute cerebellar ataxia Acute cholecystitis (gallstones) Acute cytomegalovirus (cmv) infection Acute gouty arthritis Acute hiv infection Acute kidney failure Acute lymphocytic leukemia (all) Acute lymphocytic leukemia - photomicrograph Acute pancreatitis attacks and lost most of the weight but the effects will always remain on my body and will not go away. I hate to look at my breast and stomach it looks like someone took a knife and slashed up my skin. Some stretch marks are so bad that they are 2'' wide and deep. My breast sag as if I was 50 yrs old. I have learned to not wear tops that would even show the top of my breast or a swimsuit that might reveal my stomach but more then that it is very very hard emotionally. Im so young and so embarrased of my body. I try to avoid relationiships because I am afraid that a man will never except the way I look.....why should he I havent. I am writting this because if anyone know possible treatments that might help, or a plastic surgeons that might offer some type of assistance I would be very greatful. I am young womenWomen's way that does not have many family resources with assistance for plastic surgery and I can't afford to pay for it so I am limited. Again if anyone can help me in the slightess. I would be greatful and anything big or small....means something very big to me. Thank you
If i were you i wouldnt even worry about the way you look...in my opinion if a man is not comfortable with the way you look hes not worth your time!! I have had two babies and i know all about the stretch mark thing...lol..i like to call them beauty marks and battle marks....thats what you should call yours as you went through a great deal to get these marks on your body! You should be proud of yourself,..for being able to overcome what you have!! I actually commend you!! :) You could always lose a few pounds and as for the stretch marks,,,if they really bother you that much ( bio oil is prettty good and ridding them and making them fade a great deal!!) ALSO a little hint...guys are super attracted to women who are comfortable with there body...you need to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that no matter what you are beautiful!! A man loves confidence in a woman and i believe that you have that...its just hiding!! As for the boob thing you could try a oush u bra..my boobs gravity has taken a lil toll on to..lol...i wear thoes and you cant tell the difference..tanning sessions are also good for the stretchmarks! Good luck hun and remember your beautiful no matter what!!
