Juvederm gone wrong!!

by samcat01, Oct 21, 2007 03:39PM
I had Juvederm injected under my eyes for dark circles 2 wks ago. I have major swelling & bruising on my right eye which I was given steroids for, now that I am off the steroids, the swelling is back!! Also where the Juvederm was injected, there is a noticeble line under the eye, almost like a bag surronding the product. What can I do??? Can it be removed, the Juvederm? I look like I've been beat up!!!

Juvederm is not a permanent injectable, and so any distortion that persists will disappear over the next several months or so.  The bruising will disappear, but you may be experiencing a rare allergic reaction to the material, so I doubt that you should have any further injections.
