Lipo Dissolve on Chin and Jawline

Lipo Dissolve on Chin and Jawline

I had Lip Dissolve on my double chin and jawline 3 weeks ago.  I have to admit the first 15 minutes after havng this done, the pain was absolutely unbearable!  It hurt so much in my jaw I could not even talk.  I was very very very swollen - like I had a fat suit on for about 3-4 days.  In fact, the swelling went down to my chest (and I had pretty minimal injections so I am told).  So, 3 weeks later I still have some swelling, numbness, and one side of my mouth (lower) does not move as much as the other when I smile - my smile is crooked now.  They told me that the numbness and the crooked smile could last for a month.  I am concerned that my face is permanently damaged and that my smile will never be the same.  Has anyone else experienced this - and has had numbness for this long?  I am really getting scared now.

Well, it has been almost 8 weeks now since my lipodissolve treatment on my chin.  My smile is back to normal but I still have numbing all around my chin area.  Also, I am feeling disappointed about the results.  I still have the same double chin - except it seems to just be on one side.  Which is now, even more noticeable.  I took before and after photos myself to compare and there is absolutely no difference!  What a waste of $750.00!  Has anyone ever received a refund for a treatment that was unsuccessful?

I received my treatment at idinhealth in Edina, MN.  They have offered to "redo" on my chin at no charge.  I am skeptical.  My chin is actually still numb from the first treament 4 months ago.  The dr actually tried to convince me that there was a difference however, the proof was in the pictures he took and there was no change.  I will keep you updated on how the 2nd treatment goes.

Lipo dissolve is total garbage!  It is more painful & more inconvenient than liposuction & the results are typically NO fat reduction - only permanent scarring, discoloration & uneveness.  I know as I have done both procedures & liposuction is a breeze by comparison.  Also, liposuctions results can be dramatic.  My husband & I wasted nearly $8,000 on dissolve & found it both worthless & damaging.  We are attempting to receive a refund.  If one is not granted litigation will be pursued to the fullest.  Good luck to all of you & I hope you find resolution.

Totally agree with you - I had it done twice (he re-did it free of charge cause it didn't work the first time)....and guess what - it did not work the second time either!  I am going next week to demand a refund...don't know how it will turn out.  If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit - let me know - I WANT IN!  They should not be allowed to continue to do this procedure with all their lame promises!
