Lipoma treatment

by health.sante, Oct 07, 2007 08:03AM
I had a small lipoma on the back. It became infected. It was removed by surgery. A new one started near the old one and is stable.

However, I have alerge one under the L arm, just below the armpit on the chest side. It is not oainful, but I can feel it. It seems stable.

I want to avoid surgery.  Please would you tell me:
1. What nutritional substance will help (e.g., lecithin)?
2. What orher treatment options are there (e.g., injection of fat disolving substances)?  What substances have been rpoved to work?
2. What other treatments will help (even if slow)?

Thank you for your help.

The only two techniques for removal of a lipoma that I have successfully used is direct resection and , for the appropriate lipoma, liposuction.  I have no experience or knowledge of the success of injectables
