Misshapen Head

by dakingraja, Dec 04, 2008 06:08PM
I have two protrusions on the side of my head that have seem to have grown with me since I was a child. It makes my head kindof look like lemon turned sideways. The muscles on the side move when I chew.  I beleive it has something to do with the way my skull is shaped.I was told that my head was not shaped at birth but I dont know. I have worn my hair long to cover it up. Im the only one in my family with a head like this and hope it can be corrected through surgery. I am an African american male.

There is clearly no way for me to evaluate this deformity without a direct examination and an X-ray.  Since this is troubling for you, I would be seen by a local plastic surgeon.
