My son had a keloid removed

by triedeverymed, Jul 06, 2008 09:39PM
My son had a fall and developed a large Keloid scar on his thigh. We took him to a surgeon and they were able to remove it and create a a flat scar. He won't ever be without the scar but a least it's not raised like the Keloid was. You may want to consult with a surgeon about removing the worst of the Keloids so your daughter isn't so embarassed by them.

This discussion is related to 100's of self injury scars - Keloids.

triedeverymed, are you still around? My daughter is going to get some keliod scars removed soon, too. I would like to talk with you since you've had this done if you are still around. Thank you!
