Seroma

by NatL, May 04, 2008 07:42PM
After undergoing a breat reduction and tummy tuck (11 weeks ago) I soon developed an abdominal seroma. For 5 weeks I was getting aspirated when my Dr. decided to put in a drain. The first one did not work, had a second one put in, that didn't work either. Now I'm back to being aspirated on a weekly basis. He keeps telling me my body will eventually absorb it, but the fluid does not seem to be slowing down. Is there any other option? I was told the risks of sugery again outway the benefits. Has anyone ever had a seroma last for months?
