Surgery of the skull? Is this possible?

by Brehon, Nov 03, 2009 07:27PM
Hi, i was born with craniosynostosis. It only affects one side of my head - the right side. Because of this the right side of my head and face looks less fuller than the left side, looks more bony aswell especially the jaw. The left side turned out fine. Im wondering is it possible to get something to fill the top right side of the skull to give it a more fuller and less bony look? Thanks

It may be possible to placed a custom designed silicone form beneath the scalp to create more symmetry.  Speak with a local reconstructive plastic surgeon about this procedure.
